DOUBLE NOMINATIONS AT RTS MIDLANDS 2017

We are very excited to announce that we have secured double nominations at the RTS Midlands Awards 2017 with Gotcha! and ‘Paper City’ – Tarmac BIM Solutions.

We created Gotcha! a 3D animation for CITV’s BAFTA award-winning Share-A-Story series and we are delighted that it has been nominated by RTS Midlands Awards 2017 in their Excellence in Production Craft Skills category. This nomination is the third for this short, following nominations at Montreal’s Animaze and Supertoon’s earlier this year and we are feeling very proud!

Gotcha! is a classic tale of cat and mouse, no make that scarecrow and rabbit, with a little magic twist for good measure!

And…. our ‘Paper City’ Tarmac BIM Solutions has been nominated in the Best Promotional Programme category by RTS Midlands Awards 2017.

‘Paper City’ Tarmac BIM Solutions features a CGI paper world that literally unfolds before your eyes. We created the concept for Connect Group’s client, Tarmac. The first commercial created for the campaign ‘Paper City’ received a great response across the festival scene, winning the Gold Award in the Digital Media: Animation category in the Cream Awards 2015 and has since been screened at Gran Canaria’s Festival Animayo 2017 and nominated at Supertoon 2017 and we are delighted to find out that ‘Paper City’ Tarmac BIM Solutions is also catching the judges’ eye(s)!
